Welcome to my monthly income report for June 2013! In an effort to be helpful and transparent, I want to show you these reports so you can see exactly how my ecommerce business is doing each month.
What Happened in June
June was another five figure month, making it the third one in a row! I was able to cross off a couple more of my 2013 goals this month. I had over 7,000 unique visitors for the first time this month and my YouTube views blew past my goal of 40,000. That makes 15 out of 24 goals for the year already achieved! I’m very pleased with that. At the first of the year, I really tried to set goals that I felt would require some hard work to achieve so to see so many goals already met with six months still remaining is just awesome.
I mentioned last month about my foray into facebook advertising. Well, I decided to cancel my plan with the advertising company and they offered to give me the next two months for the price of one. I took the bait (yet again) so it’s going to run through the middle of August. I’ll be writing a post soon about my experience and my opinion on whether it was worth it or not.
I finished up my non-ecommerce website that I was redesigning so that’s out of the way now and I’ve gone back to work on store #2. I already know I’m not going to reach my goal of launching the new store by August 1st but I hope to really dive in to the project now and get things moving along as quickly as possible. It’s only four months until the holiday shopping season so I want it to be live well before that begins.
Here’s my income report for June…
My primary mission for the rest of this month is to complete as much as possible on store #2. There are still some design issues that have to be taken care of by the designer and I have a lot of work to do on setting up the product catalog. I’ve already finished one category but this store is going to have several categories so there’s still a lot of work left to do.
When I started this blog, my goal was to write one post per month on an ecommerce task or topic plus my monthly income report. For the past few months, all I’ve been able to do was the income report. Man, it sure is tough to keep up with multiple websites! Anyway, I hope to have some new content out soon to go along with my income reports. I know these income reports alone can be pretty boring and really don’t help unless I’m showing you my other experiences as well.
Well, that’s all for this month! Thanks for checking in and keeping up with my journey in ecommerce.
